Zanzibar Gender Coalition (ZGC) is a non-profit, non-partisan network organization registered under the NGO framework in Zanzibar.
Founded in 2010, the Coalition brings together 20 civil society organizations to undertake joint advocacy for gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The ZGC Strategic Plan 2026–2030 provides the overall framework for organizational and programme development. It emphasizes collective action, policy advocacy, research and knowledge management, elimination of gender-based violence, women’s participation in politics and leadership, public education, and institutional strengthening.
